David Braciak is the Founder and Lead Ballet Instructor of David Matthew Studios, where he is known for cultivating technical excellence, artistry, and disciplined training. With a professional career rooted in classical ballet and a passion for mentorship, David is dedicated to shaping not only strong dancers, but true artists.
My Story
At David Matthew Studios, every dancer is guided by a standard of excellence that blends strong technical training with artistic expression—shaping not just skilled performers, but confident, expressive artists.
Founder David Braciak discovered his love of ballet at an early age and trained for three years at the world-renowned School of American Ballet. His professional career included dancing with Pacific Northwest Ballet, where he performed in works such as Western Symphony, Stars and Stripes, and an original creation by Kent Stowell. He later joined Kansas City Ballet, where he continued to grow through the challenges of a rich classical repertoire.

Bringing this depth of experience back home to Ada, David has led David Matthew Studios to national recognition. His choreography has been honored at prestigious competitions including Artist Simply Human, Tremaine, and Youth America Grand Prix, where he has earned the coveted Best Choreography award for fifteen consecutive years.

David’s greatest joy lies in the success of his students. Dancers trained under his direction have gone on to perform with leading ballet companies such as New York City Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet, and have received scholarships to top performing arts programs including NYU, University of Michigan, and Butler University.
