At David Matthew Studios, we provide elite dance instruction for dancers of all ages—rooted in classical technique and elevated through artistry, intention, and care.

From a dancer’s very first steps to advanced training for dedicated teens, our programs are designed to cultivate confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of movement. Through expert instruction, thoughtful corrections, and an environment grounded in respect and excellence, we guide each dancer’s growth both technically and personally.

Founder | Lead Ballet Instructor | Choreographer

David Braciak

David Braciak is the Founder and Lead Ballet Instructor of David Matthew Studios, where classical discipline meets refined artistry.

Trained at the School of American Ballet, David danced professionally with Pacific Northwest Ballet and Kansas City Ballet before returning home to build a studio rooted in excellence.

His award-winning choreography and mentorship have guided dancers to professional companies and premier university programs nationwide.

Aliya VanTuinen

Professional dancer and educator with over two decades of experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and performance-based training. Known for her refined technique, artistry, and mentorship.

Gracelyn Guild

Professional dancer and choreographer with a BFA in Dance from Grand Valley State University. A current member of the Grand Rapids Gold Dance Team, Gracelyn brings performance excellence, artistry, and mentorship to every class.

Aimee Reyes

Aimee Reyes is a versatile dancer and educator with over 15 years of training in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. Her performance experience includes appearances with the Detroit Lions, Mariah Carey, and the Y2K Celebration at Van Andel Arena.

With more than a decade of teaching experience, Aimee is passionate about strong technique and inspiring confident, well-rounded dancers in every class.

Leah Koski (NewSense)

Leah Koski, also known as NewSense, is a professional educator and performance artist with over a decade of teaching experience. Trained in breaking, ballet, jazz, and contemporary, she recently choreographed and performed in Hip Opera with Opera Grand Rapids.

Leah is dedicated to creating inclusive, empowering classes rooted in respect, discipline, and authentic Hip-Hop culture.

Instructor | Breaking & Street Dance | Culture Educator

Gracelyn Guild

Janeil Foy, also known as Alienj, is a West Michigan-based breaker, educator, and owner of Teknique Street Dance Academy. A member of the 61syx Teknique Crew, he is recognized for his creativity, leadership, and commitment to street dance culture.

Janeil was honored as Play Expert of the Year 2024 by Playground GR for his contributions to youth and community development.

Liz Braciak

Liz Braciak is the Studio Manager at David Matthew Studios, supporting daily operations and creating a positive, well-organized environment for dancers, families, and staff.

Her attention to detail and dedication to the studio community help uphold DMS’s standard of excellence.

Elite Team Manager

Becky Vandenbroek

Rebecca Vandenbroek is the Elite Dance Team Manager at David Matthew Studios. She began dancing at age eight and went on to serve as a high school team captain, leading her team to NCA Nationals in Los Angeles, where they placed 2nd in the Small Group category.

 

Rebecca was also named an NCA All-American and performed internationally in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland. She brings her leadership experience and passion for excellence to supporting Elite dancers and families at DMS.

Tricia Buschert

Tricia Buschert supports David Matthew Studios through community events and outreach initiatives that help build awareness and connection within the greater community. Her involvement plays an important role in strengthening relationships, supporting studio events, and promoting the DMS mission beyond the studio walls.

Tricia is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that bring families, dancers, and the community together in support of David Matthew Studios.
